Dana Monogue
Dr. Dana Monogue is finishing her 33rd year as an educator in Wisconsin and is currently serving as the superintendent of the Middleton Cross Plains Area School District in Middleton, WI., a position she has held for the past seven years.
Dana has held a variety of positions, beginning her career as a speech and language pathologist. She has also served in the roles of special education program support teacher, middle school principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent.
Dr. Monogue received a bachelor's degree from Purdue University, a masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an additional masters degree and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. For the past seventeen years, Dana has taught at the graduate level for the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Carroll University, and currently holds a position as a permanent adjunct faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis Department.
Dana grew up in northern Illinois but both of her parents are from Wisconsin. She and her husband Toby have two adult children: Merit, 24, and McKenna, 22.
